James Louviere

Founding Principal

James is a founding principal of LSY. He has over 30 years of professional experience which encompasses programming, laboratory planning, total building planning and design, technical production, construction administration, quality assurance and project management. He served on the NIH National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) for eight years, and currently serves the Biomedical Research Community with technical reviews and design input for laboratory and animal facility projects across the country. James earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Louisiana, formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana. In his free time, James enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with his wife and two sons, and occasionally indulging in a good cognac and fine cigar.
