Smithers Avanza

Smithers Avanza Bioanalytical Services develops assays for clinical trials in both human and animal studies. As the existing laboratory facilities neared capacity, LSY was commissioned to upgrade and expand their existing laboratories to accommodate their staff increase and physical footprint.

The renovation expanded the existing laboratory space and conversion of functions on the first floor as well as a realignment and conversion of administrative spaces into labs on the second floor. The design includes a new equipment lab, specimen lab and storage space, lab staff cubicles, a conference room, break room and a new stairwell.
