Sirnaomics, Inc.

LSY was awarded the opportunity to create a space for two companies – Sirnaomics, Inc. and RNA Immune – for this 43,141 SF tenant fit-out on the second floor of a two-story building in Germantown, MD. Each company maintained separate entrances with receptions, private and open office areas, and separate labs but shared conference rooms, a break room, autoclave and glass wash space, freezer space, and storage in addition to communal vivarium space. Specialty labs consisted of a variety of disciplines including biology, chemistry, RNA molecular biology, cell culture, clinical analytics, QC release as well as a reagent room, DNA isolation and RNA synthesis.

The design intent focused on the outside views with specific working lab spaces and private and open offices placed to give access to natural daylight while storage and more private resource rooms placed more towards the interior.
