Cagewash Replacement 

This project was the installation of two replacement tunnel washers in the existing vivarium washroom of the Porter Neuroscience Research Center. It was a logistical, design and construction challenge. This work entailed removal of the existing tunnel washers and all associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing utilities as well patching high-end epoxy finishes. The client required that the existing vivarium washroom remain fully operational during construction. The design team worked closely with the contractor to clearly articulate phases as well as enabling phases to facilitate continuous vivarium operation.
