University of Delaware Center for Biomedical & Brain Imaging (CBBI)

LSY worked with the University of Delaware and all other stakeholders to establish goals, review, validate and advance the final program and design of the MRI Research Facility. The goals of the new facility included advancing the University’s agenda in health, neuroscience, and biomedical research while enhancing the resources at the Delaware Health Sciences Alliance and several other UD facilities.

The process began with the analysis of the concept program developed by Studio of Metropolitan Design and validation of program data through both user group interviews and site investigations. Through-out the analysis, LSY conducted interviews with each program lead at the University to gain a better understanding of their curricula and research goals. LSY also reviewed the basic equipment list for all the MRI, laboratory, and support spaces and provided validation for larger equipment.
